Braulina Aurora
Hipamaali, a.k.a. Braulina Aurora, was born in São Gabriel da Cachoeira, in the territory of the Baniwa people, in the Amazon. She is a mother, an indigenous leader and an anthropologist. Braulina is an important voice for the women of her people and for the Federation of the Negro River’s Indigenous Organizations (FOIRN). She was interviewed by the Museum of the Person in 2021.
