ABOUT THE EXPOSURE

Indigenous Lives: Ways of Inhabiting the World presents stories of indigenous men and women from various peoples. The stories provide reflections and reports about their origins, their displacements and their struggle for the right to be and to exist in the contemporary world. Be it in an indigenous village or in a city, the exhibition presents people and their life experiences, displaying their deep searches, discoveries, fears and anxieties.

The exhibition is organized by the Museum of the Person, in partnership with the Indigenous Visibility [Visibilidade Indígena] network, and has the support of the UNHCR, Armazém Memória, Institute of Relational Policies [Instituto de Políticas Relacionais], and the Embassy of Norway.
