Case Angatu Tupinambá
Casé Angatu Tupinambá was born into the hands of his grandmother, a midwife, like his own mother. While living in the Penha district, in São Paulo, his family kept indigenous traditions and customs, as well as an indigenous way of life. Casé entered the university, became a doctor and then started teaching. He later moved to Bahia, where he recognized himself as part of the Tupinambá people of Olivença and engaged in their struggle.
